1. Overview
This policy covers Bear Witness Shop orders placed at shop.bwtz.online. Support: mike@xtremerippleprotocol.online.
2. UK distance-selling cooling-off (14 days)
If you are a consumer buying at a distance in the UK, you generally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days after delivery without giving a reason (Consumer Contracts Regulations). You should tell us clearly (email is fine). After cancellation you should return goods without undue delay (and within 14 days of telling us), and we refund in line with applicable rules once goods are back / evidence of return is provided, minus any reduction for diminished value from unnecessary handling where permitted.
If we failed to provide required cancellation information, the cancellation period can be longer under UK rules (GOV.UK guidance summarises extensions up to 12 months, then 14 days after you are informed).
3. Print-on-demand / personalised goods — important exception
Many of our apparel items are made to order (Printful) and may be considered goods made to your specifications / clearly personalised once production has started. Where the law allows, the cooling-off right may not apply to those goods after manufacture has begun. We disclose this before you pay. If you are unsure whether your item is personalised/POD, check the product page (“Made to order”) or email us before ordering.
In-stock / non-personalised goods that qualify for cooling-off remain subject to the 14-day rules above.
4. Faulty or misdescribed goods (Consumer Rights Act basics)
Goods should be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If something arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us promptly with your order number and photos. UK consumers generally have short-term reject / repair / replace / price reduction and refund paths under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We will work with you (and Printful where they fulfilled the item) to put it right.
5. How to start a return or cancellation
- Email mike@xtremerippleprotocol.online with your order number, what you received, and whether you are cancelling under cooling-off or reporting a fault.
- Wait for return instructions before shipping anything back (wrong returns may not be accepted).
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible (card via Square; XRP refunds handled case-by-case to a wallet you designate).
6. Shipping costs on returns
For valid cooling-off returns of eligible goods, initial delivery charges may be refundable as required by law (often standard delivery). Return postage may be your responsibility unless the goods are faulty or we agreed otherwise. Faulty goods: we will not ask you to bear unreasonable costs to exercise statutory rights.
